My experience with jamplay

My name is Robert and I have been a member of Jamplay for about 1year and 6 months now. The community

The community is awesome. The forum is well structured and active, some examples of sub forums are: Introduction area, General chat, Acoustic guitar, Electric guitar, Theory etc. There are also sections for each of the instructors where you can discuss their lessons.

They also have a social networking feature that allows you to chat with other people and make your user profile where you can add photos, musical background, favorite bands and many other things. Members can then lookup and discover you, message you, and add you as a friend. You can search and find other guitar players based on location, talent, local gigs, and 14 other ways to find bands.

I have found a lot of people that share the same interests as me that I talk to daily. It’s a great way of meeting like-minded people.

There is so much content and tools available that you can get information overload if you are not careful. So if you easily get overwhelmed this might not be for you. However it’s very organized so if you just follow the stages and don’t jump ahead, you won’t have a problem. And you can always ask questions in the forum or on the Q&A sessions.
